Bitches
"Bitches" begins when high school senior Kate has an unexpected run in with a mysterious figure from her past. With spinning, dandelion tea, and a decades-old cult, Kate's life transforms from the average high school experience into a unique tale about self-acceptance and discovery.
"'Bitches' is about the temptation to break free from societal expectations, the outcome for those who have, the guilt for those who don't want to, and the reactions of everyone in between. I see it as a view of a world where everyone must be part of some group or cult - and even if one chooses the most obscure of groups, it is impossible to be an individual. It's a satirical look at the way we categorize people into these stereotypes and how difficult it is to actually be unique." --Emma Silverman
