Intro to Local Plant Medicine: Forests
We have an abundance of plant medicines at our fingertips: both native plants and introduced plants. During this three hour intensive class, we will learn about the basic uses of the plants we encounter, how and when to harvest, and how to apply them. Some of the plants we will discuss are: western red cedar, red alder, douglas fir, blackberry, and low oregon grape. This is a hands on workshop that will involve smelling, tasting, cutting, harvesting and walking.
On the same day as this class, Ill be teaching Basic Plant ID: Forests in the morning, which can be taken with this class. Feel free to sign up for both!
