"The Throwdown!" YouthTogether's 20th Anniversary Concert Fundraiser
This is a FUNDRAISER to benefit the Youth of East Oakland. EVERYTHING that you donate to THE THROWDOWN is going DIRECTLY to helping youth in East Oakland, who are some of the most underprivileged and under-resourced students in all of Oakland.
With your contribution to YOUTH TOGETHER's Signature event, you are helping to support: College tours; Academic services not seen at schools, like culturally competent counseling and counselors/staff of color; social justice programming that teaches students cultural competency and solidarity; employability skills for youth; violence prevention/restorative justice; keeping our youth safe and off the streets.
Youth Together is an Organization Celebrating 20 Years of existence. Grounded in our commitment to peace, unity and justice, the mission of Youth Together is to address the root causes of educational inequities by developing multiracial youth leaders and engaging school community allies to promote positive school change. Please donate, and make sure Student voice and Student power continues to be represented in key decision making spaces within OUSD!!
