Lewiston, ME
Share this event:

Creativity. Industry. Art. Innovation.

Calling all artists, arts organizations, arts educators, cultural workers, policy makers, and entrepreneurs. Your participation in the second biennial Maine International Conference
on the Arts will put you on the leading edge of arts and culture.

Join us for one and a half days in Lewiston/Auburn, where traditional and new
communities have come together to extend a long history of creative innovation.

The conference opens the afternoon of Thursday, October 6 with three inspiring pre-conference sessions; an opening reception keynote and pop-up performances at the Gendron Franco Center; and Celebrate L/A community tours and events.

Stay overnight to fully savor the industrial beauty, creativity, grit and diversity of Lewiston-Auburn by taking advantage of our discounted block of rooms at either the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Auburn, overlooking the mighty Androscoggin River; or the Hampton by Hilton in Lewiston. Both are within walking distance of conference events.

On Friday, gain an immersive experience into the history and raw muscularity of Maine's industrial creativity with a full day of events at the Bates Mill and Museum L/A.
