DJ Sep is the founder, promoter, and main resident DJ at Dub Mission. For 22 years, Sep was also on Bay Area radio: first at the highly influential KUSF and later at Pacifica public radio station, KPFA. She's the co-compiler (with producer Shockman) of Babylon Is Ours: The USA in Dub, a collection of all-exclusive American dub tracks released on Select Cuts Records.  In 2009, Mochipet's Daly City Records released her remixes (with Jason Short) of "Get Your Dub Wet" featuring Juakali and Mista Chatman. Sep has won a Goldie Award (Bay Guardian) and been nominated for Best DJ (SF Weekly Music Awards). She has spun in London, Vancouver, New York, Washington DC, Miami, Portland, Seattle, and Los Angeles and has opened for the likes of Sly & Robbie, Lee Perry, The Wailers, Culture, Big Youth, Les Nubians, Rachid Taha, Kinky, The Cinematic Orchestra and many others Her latest mixes, remixes, and original music can be found on

Native Vallejoan Luv Fyah is on the cutting edge of today's reggae music. Born Rahsaan Jamal Carson, Fyah, as friends and fans affectionately call him, is one of Bay Area's top artists. On the cutting edge of today's reggae music, he has performed on shows with Midnite from St. Croix, Wadi Gad from Trinidad, Kamani Marley, son of reggae legend Bob Marley, Tony Rebel, The Abyssinians, and Mikey Dread just to name a few. Luv Fyah's roots run deep. He started drumming with his father's group The Lockdown Reggae Band in the 80's. His energetic and spiritual stage presence captures audiences wherever he performs, a true cultural ambassador for reggae music.

Janaka Selekta started DJing Jungle and Drum n Bass to packed underground venues in the late 90s. Over the years, his sets have evolved to include many genres, seamlessly
moving from different tempos and intensities to truly rock a dance floor. As a multifaceted producer Janaka is renowned for sculpting cutting edge sonics, hard hitting beats, and
then combining them with traditional instruments from across the planet. Janaka has written and produced a number of internationally recognized bands including Mighty Dub Killaz and Dhamaal Soundsystem. His current band Gods Robots recently wrote the theme music for the Kaizad Gustad Bollywood movie and appears in the movie performing the song. He has remixed songs by Asian Dub Foundation, Cheb i Sabbah and Jef Stott, and has curated a compilation album for Sony Music, India. His latest remix of Sizzlas Weve Got What It Takes will be released on Muti Music later this Summer.
