Dig your toes into the sand. Feel the breeze on your skin. Fix your eyes on the horizon. What can you see from here? Scratch that: What can't you see?
Join Living Room Playmakers for staged readings of six new short plays, inspired by and presented on the lakeshore.
Plays will be performed with scripts in hand and a generous amount of running around on a neighborhood beach in Rogers Park. (Exact intersection given upon RSVP.)
Written by Jonathan Baude, Jo Cattell, Rachel DuBose, Samira Lee, Lily Mooney, and Jessy Lauren Smith
Directed by Lexi Saunders
Performed by Adithi Chandrashekar, Tasha Anne James, Abby Pajakowski, Abby Pierce, Sasha Smith, and Joshua J. Volkers
IMPORTANT NOTES: In the case of terrible weather, performances will be rescheduled for MONDAY, JUNE 27, with refunds offered to those who are not be able to make it.
There will be NO tickets available at the door for this event. And not just because there are no doors on the beach. Guests must register online in advance!
