WHY this party? Elizabeth's own words (edited for space):

On Tuesday, December 8, 2015 I found that the breast cancer I thought I had beat was apparently not gone from my body. An MRI has shown that I have cancer metastasis in my brain. The diagnoses is being called STAGE 4 metastatic breast cancer.

I am so fortunate, grateful and blessed. My life is rich. I feel your love, support, prayers and it feels incredible and powerful. I feel touched I mean something to you. You can bet I will do everything in my power to keep living more of this amazing life with you! I will fight this! I will win!
