Sugarloaf Ridge State Park was among the 70 state parks closed by the state in July, 2012.  Thanks to Team Sugarloaf, a collaboration of five partner organizations led by Sonoma Ecology Center, the 2000-acre park and all park programs and services -- including hiking, picnicking, camping, guided hikes and nature walks, and the Robert Ferguson Observatory -- continue.

Team Sugarloaf assumed responsibility for park in July 2012, and will continue to manage it through 2019.
Team Sugarloaf partner organizations include Sonoma Ecology Center (lead partner), Valley of the Moon Observatory Association, Valley of the Moon Natural History Association, United Camps Conferences and Retreats, and the Sonoma County Trails Council.

Operation of the park is made possible by the generous support of our community. To support Sugarloaf Ridge State Park, please visit www.sonomaecologycenter.org/donate and select "Sugarloaf."
