Following the successful reception of Erica Sunshine Lees 6th album, shes been on the road full time touring the globe since 2007 across US, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. This prolific songwriter has penned songs that were recorded by over a dozen other artists, including the late Alabama Outlaw Legend Wayne Mills, Thomas Fountain (Recent Georgia Countrys Female Artist of the Year), The Viper Creek Band (Australias hottest new country band), Nashvilles Kirstie Lovelady, Georgias Preston Summerville, Baltimores Mark Bray, and Ohios Jessica Hannan. Sunshine has opened up for David Allan Coe, David Nail, Brett Eldredge, Randy Houser, and Jack Ingram and has performed with ZZ Tops Billy Gibbons, Tommy Tutone, Trailor Choir & John Michael Montgomery. Erica recently toured with Australian Band, Turk Tresize & The Graysmiths, recording the background vocals on his latest album SOUL CASINO which also featured the singer Brittany Howard from The Alabama Shakes. Jared and Melissa are at the core of the Moonlight Pickers. Husband and wife come together with guitars and harmonies, bringing to mind memorable couples like Johnny Cash and June Carter. Both are songwriters, each holding at least 10 years of experience under their boots.
The Miles Burning Band joined with them back in October, with the release of Melissa's debut EP, "What I Need". Mike Pentz and Tony Spadaro of The Miles Burning Band were there from this point on, with Mike on drums and Tony on bass.
Sam has joined the current quartet, filling the seat behind the drums, and Mike, an excellent picker, has taken a spot in front of his trusted amp, as lead guitarist.
Both The Pickers and MBB have an affinity for the clean, classic sound of Country music while unavailingly leaning towards some newer Country hits. They are perfecting and creating their own unique blend of Country, Blues, Rock, and even some top picks from popular music as well.
