Please join us at Spruce on Monday, July 11th as we host a truly unique dinner featuring the Rieslings of Dr. Loosen in the German Mosel River Valley. German Rieslings are among the most renowned wines in the world, and they have always held a special place on the Spruce wine list. Riesling is one of the few grapes that is capable of producing a complete spectrum of wine styles, from bone dry to lusciously sweet. Joining us from Germany will be Ernst (Erni) Loosen, the proprietor of the estate, a role which he assumed in 1988 from his father and grandfather. Erni is considered to be one of the best wine makers in Germany, and a true ambassador for the wines of the Mosel. Chefs Mark Sullivan and John Madriaga have crafted a special menu to pair with these beautiful wines.
