Why, it's BarFly's 17th Anniversary Bash!
No, we can't believe we're almost legal, either!
In keeping with our reputation for throwing the best throw-downs in town, we have a veritable cavalcade of entertainments, for your amusement!

Naturally, we'll be bringing back the ever-popular Stripper Petting Zoo (where the strippers pet you!), Matt Stanger and Ian Pian's custom airbrush art booth, and BarFly's complimentary Beard Shearing Station (get a fresh face for summer - free! Sponsored by Concrete Cloud Studio).
Comedian Aaron Ross, host of Portland's long-running "Who's the Ross" live comedy/talkshow, will act as emcee and "barker" for the for the VD Cake Walk, the Mini-Bike Joust, and the Stripper Petting Zoo!
Did we mention we're doing a VD Cake Walk* and a Mini-Bike Joust? We sure are!
BarFly's 17th Anniversary Bash is proudly presented by our best buddy, Mr Jim Beam, and our new pal, Rolling Rock!
Expect free tastings, and $5 specials on all Jim Beam, Jim Beam Black, Effen Vodka, Effen Black Cherry, Hornitos Plata Tequila, and Cruzan Dark Rum drinks, plus $2 Rolling Rock Tallboys throughout the proceedings!
The White Owl will feature a special $5 menu until 7pm, as well.
Admission is $6 or FREE! How do you get in free? Do one or more of these things:
1. Wear your BarFly T-shirt (or buy one at the door for $10 and you get in free, with a sweet new addition to your wardrobe, too!).

BarFly's 17th Anniversary Bash is exclusively 21+, and pet-free (service animals welcome, of course!).
A short history of BarFly:
Founded in 1999, by former bartender, Jen Lane, BarFly broke new ground in Portland, by providing a comprehensive, yet pocketsized, monthly zine/guide dedicated to the Portland bar scene.
While the print edition went the way of the dodo in 2006, BarFly has maintained a strong online presence (www.barflypdx.com), and continues to be a touchstone in the Portland community.
BarFly also operates a popular pub crawl service, BarFly Bus Tours, offering monthly tours that are open to the public, and private charter service for all manner of parties.
