Festa Junina w/ En Canto
En Canto celebrates Festa Junina, a Brazilian traditional party similar to carnival that celebrates saints and new plantation seasons, following a tradition that started in Europe even before Brazil was discovered.
There will be traditional food by Kit Festa Cafe and Leila Dias, games, and plenty of quadrilha (similar to square dancing) PLUS live forró music to get the party going. Costumes are encouraged!
Dora de Oliveira will lead the quadrilha and Lara Diniz will teach a forró lesson. Not to be missed!
This is an ALL AGES event. FREE Admission for kids 12 and under!
