Old School / New School Music Showcase
Come see two dynamic bands from yesterday and today.
Gallery-81 - 8:30pm - 10:00pm
Born on the coat tails of summer 2015, Gallery-81 is currently overtaking the Chicago music scene one show at time. The band is rapidly establishing themselves as one of Chicago's premier original Pop-Punk bands.
Through catchy hooks and high-energy live performances, Gallery-81 is changing the rock scene completely.
Saint's N Sinners - 10:30pm - 12:30pm
Albums, Peace Signs, VW buses, Hippies, Fringe Jackets, Granny Glasses, Long Hair, one thing these all have in common is that they bring back memories of a great era. If you were lucky to be a teenager during that time you could not wait for Saturday to come to run downtown to Sears to get the latest album release from The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Doors, The Who, Jefferson Airplane and so many other great bands of the era. Young boys all across America got together to form bands in garages. The bands that those young boys idolized changed the face of music and a new beginning was on the horizon for all musicians from that day forward. The Saints N Sinners was one of those garage bands formed by two brothers back in 1964. The group grew in popularity and played many local and regional venues, opening for many super groups of the time including Steppenwolf, The Eagles, American Breed, Crying Shames, and The Door and many more. The band disbanded around 1974 and reformed in 2013, with some great musicians around the Joliet area.
