Hairstyling For The Working Make Up Artist

This course teaches make up artists the practical skills and knowledge they need to step up their professionalism and do double duty as they work with brides.

In an intimate setting, with guidance from one of New Yorks top bridal stylists, students will receive a combination of practical, hands-on training and essential theory. Students will finish the course equipped with the know-how to create a range of bridal styles that last through the wedding day and night.

In this course, students will:
- explore a range of techniques and styles during guided hands-on setting practice
- learn the three most important things a beginning bridal hair stylist needs to know
- develop an understanding of the different hair textures
- find out which tools are best for different types of hair textures and styles
- increase their product knowledge
- become proficient at creating styles that last all wedding day and night
- discover the most efficient way to create different looks during a brides hair trial
- learn all about hair extensions

You will need to bring a model with you, so find a friend who wants to have her hair done for free!
