Special Screening of dance film Dust by Jennifer Faust
TRIPTYCH: Dust, Blood and Water: is an experimental, dance-film trilogy about cancer that will explore the concept of visual beauty, magic, energy and mortality through dance, film and original music. Jennifer Faust, an oncology nurse among other things, sought a way to capture the strength, pain, courage, beauty and ugliness that she has seen working with cancer patients. The three elements, dust, blood and water, were chosen for their parallel to what one sees at work as an oncology nurse; dust representing flesh, blood representing the life force itself and water exemplifying hydration, cleansing and p of the human boy. Faust hopes to honor her patients, and their battle, in an artistic way, as well as encouraging oncology health care workers to find their own way to process the intense environment that comes with this work. Currently, Dust has been completed, Blood is in post-production and Water in pre-production. The final goal is to combine all three films to create one film that is a cycle.

BINDU BOLAR
Bindu Bolar fondly called as Tribalina is an International Tribal Fusion belly dance/ bellywood/ bollywood artist from India. She has been teaching and performing across many countries and currently she is in the bay area doing the same. ;)

Just like The City By The Bay, Dottie is famous for her dizzying hills and dangerous curves. Well, hello San Francisco! She's known to cause a ruckus with a horn, shake it up and bring bawdy brouhaha! Dottie is the founder and director of the Red Hots Burlesque show.
