Designed for Health- Kitchen Workshop
Your personal environment has a larger and more subtle impact than most of us realize. By taking control of our surroundings, we set ourselves up for success and make behavior change easier. This course is the first in the Designed for Health series and focuses on changes you can make in the kitchen that facilitate a healthier you.
During this workshop, you will learn about:
-biophilia- what it is and why it matters -the science of nudging and how to use it to make losing weight easy -what sustainability has to do with your health -how the implementation of simple changes will increase your chances of success
Each registrant will receive a course workbook and a bag of goodness.
This workshop is hosted by Mina McBride. Mina holds a ALB from the Extension School at Harvard University and works for the T.H. Chan School of Public Health. As the head TA and course facilitator of Harvard Extension School's first LifeStyle Medicine course and a behavior change coach, she has helped students and executives change their lives for the better by teaching methods that make the process of making a change easier and more enjoyable.
