Performances take place over two July weekends at The Waterfront Museum and its surrounding vicinity in Red Hook.
Arrive by water taxi or jump on the local bus. Meet us on a cobblestoned Brooklyn street corner and wander into a backyard in Kansas. Take a left and reach the edge of Lake Michigan as you step inside a floating home. Grab a snack in Texas before gathering round a campfire in Tucson for a concert at the edge of the earth. Across the street at Sunnys, drop back into Brooklyn and enjoy a cold one and some local tunes after the show.

nothin's gonna change my world is an episodic play/performance piece, an immersive meditation on the dislocated and relocated in search of that mythological place called home. Glimpsing stories from across the nation inspired by NPR reports, the anonymous letters of Found Magazine, RV living blogs, the Occupy Movement and more, audiences are invited to a unique local setting conjuring the vastness of our country to reflect on the universal yearning to belong in our current American landscape.

HOW TO GET THERE:
We recommend arriving by water taxi cause it's the summer, and it's a water taxi! High winds could affect the taxi, though, so you should double check before you head out (https://www.nywatertaxi.com/ikea).
The water taxi is $5. In order to arrive in time for the performance, we suggest you catch the 6:15pm water taxi from Pier 11 Slip A and arrive at Red Hook Dock at 6:45pm
In the event of high winds or your desire to arrive via subway/bus...
There are no direct subway routes to the Waterfront Barge Museum. You must continue from the train to the B61 bus. The closest B61 stops are Beard St and Van Dyke St, depending on the direction you are coming from.
From F, G trains: Get off at Smith-9th St. Walk downstairs and catch the B61 on the corner of 9th and Smith. Get off at Van Dyke and Van Brunt Sts.
From A, C or F trains: Get off at Jay St. Metrotech station. Walk south along Jay St (which becomes Smith St) to Livingston where you can catch the B61. Get off at Beard and Van Brunt Sts.
From 2, 3, 4, 5 or R trains. Get off at Borough Hall (2, 3, 4, 5) or Court St (R) Stations. Walk south along Court St to Atlantic Ave. Catch the B61 on Atlantic Ave just around the corner from Court St. Get off at Beard and Van Brunt Sts.
For all you bicycle enthusiasts, the bike path is extremely accessible, and offers a beautiful view!
There won't be any water taxis for your return home but there are still plenty of options.
