This special event will include two presentations:
APPS AND PROCESSES TO SUCCESSFULLY INTEGRATE TECHNOLOGY FOR STUDENTS WITH SPECIFIC LEARNING DISABILITIES AT THE ELEMENTARY LEVEL: Looking for the best apps and processes to use with any of your students experiencing dyslexia, dysgraphia, and/or dyscalculia? This session will focus on bridging the gap for special education students with the use of technology. Presenters will share case studies and positive outcomes of specific elementary students using technology. Witness the transformation of struggling students into independent, successful learners! This interactive session is for all iPad skill levels.
STRATEGIES TO SUCCESSFULLY INTEGRATE TECHNOLOGY FOR STUDENTS WITH SPECIFIC LEARNING DISABILITIES WITH MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS:
Increase student independence and metacognition with strategy based learning in concert with assistive technology. Presenters will share case studies highlighting the application of technology to problem solve. We will highlight their journey to autonomy using the iPad to level the playing field and allow learners to accomplish grade level material.
