The Everyday Superhero 5K Run & Walk, presented by the West Suburban YMCA is an event that supports the financial assistance program at the Y. This program allows children and families that wouldn't otherwise be able to afford it, to participate in membership and programs at the Y - an often times life changing experience that supports healthy living youth development.
The event date is Saturday, July 16th and will begin at 9AM at the West Suburban YMCA, 2420 N. 124th Street, Wauwatosa, WI 53226.
The event will include a 3.2 mile run, and a 1.5 mile walk that will begin and end at the Y, as well as after event activities including:
Pictures with Superheros, kids races, a costume contest (winning prize is a month YMCA membership), kids crafts of mask and cape decorating, kids bounce house, refreshments, and more.
We would love to have you and your family attend this exciting and Super event. At the Y, it is our belief that every child has the potential for greatness and through the support of Everyday Superheros like you, we can deliver on helping nurture that potential!
Registration prior to June 15th is $20/individual; $60/family up to 4; $10/additional children 4-15 years old. Registration after June 15th is $25/individual; $65/family up to 4; $10/additional children 4-15 years old. Children under 4 are free. Registrations include an event shirt to proudly wear!
