Bridges Home Concert
Bridges Home in concert on June 4, 2016 - 7 PM Trio features rich vocal harmonies and multiple instruments
Do you love the sound of soaring vocal harmonies over richly textured instruments? Do the rhythms of old-time banjo or Delta blues slide guitar get your toes tapping and does the angelic tone of the Celtic harp stir your soul? If you answered yes to any of the above, plan to attend the upcoming concert at the historic Harrington Opera House in Harrington, WA, when the musical duo Bridges Home takes the stage at 7 PM for an upbeat and eclectic evening of memorable live music. Bridges Home is Tami and Dave Gunter dual lead vocalists, multi- instrumentalists and purveyors of tasty Americana, Folk, Celtic, Roots, Rock and Originals. The Festival at Sandpoint called them entertaining, endearing and eclectic. The review from their recent show at the Libby Little Theater reads: This is the performance youve been waiting for great fun in concert! Spokane Public Radio host Carlos Alden commented that, its hard not to be awed at their singing, their material, their playing and their love for what they do! Their concerts feature an engaging blend that runs from high-energy, foot-stomping sing-a-longs to hauntingly beautiful Irish ballads and finely crafted instrumental duets. The music of Bridges Home sparkles with intricately woven vocal harmonies, accompanied by guitar, tenor ukulele, clawhammer-style banjo, octave mandolin, Celtic harp, Irish whistle, accordion, bodhran, stompbox, resonator guitar and washboard. Their concerts feature an engaging blend of musical styles, from high-energy Celtic music to low-down Delta Blues, served up with classic singer-songwriter rock, stirring American folk melodies, hauntingly beautiful ballads, original music and finely crafted instrumental duets.
