"August: Osage County" tells the story of the dysfunctional Weston family. The estranged family is brought back together with the disappearance of their patriarch, Beverly, and quickly devolves into their old destructive patterns while the newly hired housekeeper bears a mostly silent witness. In the end, the family splinters again, more broken than before, with secrets brought into the light that have been hidden for years. THIS SHOW CONTAINS ADULT LANGUAGE AND THEMES Meet the Cast and Characters
Bill Mullen as Beverly Weston
The Patriarch of the Weston family, an alcoholic and washed-up poet. Rosemarie Beskind as Violet Weston
The Matriarch of the Weston family. Undergoing treatment for oral cancer, she is addicted to several prescription drugs, mostly depressants and narcotics. Virginia Wolf as Barbara Fordham
The oldest daughter of the Weston Family. Mother of Jean and wife of Bill. She is a college professor in Boulder, Colorado. She is her Mother's daughter. Marisa Clement as Ivy Weston
The middle daughter of the Weston family. The only daughter to stay in Oklahoma. She is secretly having an affair. Suzanne Robertson as Karen Weston
The youngest daughter in the Weston family. She is newly engaged to Steve, the "perfect man". Karen can talk of little else but her own happiness even at her father's funeral. Phil Godeck as Bill Fordham

Bill and Barbara's smart-tongued 14-year-old daughter. She smokes pot and cigarettes, is a vegetarian and loves old movies. Enrico DiGiacomo as Steve Heidebrecht
Karen's fiancé. A sleazy businessman from Florida (whose business, it is hinted, may be less than legitimate), and not the "perfect man" that Karen considers him. Helen Malinka as Mattie Fae Aiken
Violet's younger sister, Charlie's wife and Little Charles' mother. Just as jaded as her sister, Mattie Fae constantly belittles her son and antagonizes her husband. Bruce Larsen as Charlie Aiken
Husband of Mattie Fae and father of Little Charles. Charlie, a genial man, was a lifelong friend of Beverly. Logan Lopez as "Little" Charles Aiken
Son of Mattie Fae and Charlie. Unemployed and clumsy, his mother calls him a "screw-up", which may be a self-fulfilling prophecy. Anna Nield as Johnna Monevata
A Cheyenne Indian woman, whom Beverly hires as a live-in housekeeper shortly before he disappears. Johnna is the silent witness to much of the mayhem in the house. Mark Proulx as Sheriff Deon Gilbeau
A high-school classmate and former boyfriend of Barbara's.
