Come one, come all, you are invited to enjoy a Saturday outdoors at beautiful Olivewood Gardens! At this free, dontation based event, share live music, yoga, meditation and tours of Olivewood Gardens while spending time with family, friends and neighbors.
Potluck picnicking encouraged. This is a zero waste event, please bring a reusable water bottle or cup.
Saturday, June 4th, 11am-2pm
Rhythm of the day:
11am-11:45am Family Yoga and Meditation with Laura McIntire, live music provided by the fabulous Kinnie Dye. Concurrent guided tour of Olivewood Gardens with introduction to the resident chickens.
12-1pm potluck picnic lunch, socializing, face painting
1-1:45pm Family Yoga and Meditation with Kinnie Dye. Concurrent guided tour of Olivewood Gardens.
2pm raffle for one 4 day pass for Wanderlust Festival Squaw Valley 2016, July 14-17th.
Our practice will be outdoors, plan to bring a beach towel, picnic blanket or yoga mat.
This is a free event with all donations benefiting Olivewood Gardens. The Mission of Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center is to empower students and families from diverse backgrounds to be healthy and active citizens through organic gardening, environmental stewardship, and nutrition education. Their Vision is to reconnect students and families to the natural environment through food, education and community engagement.
