Guided Painting Session at Made Local Marketplace!
Synopsis: Learn how paint a local Sonoma County Scene in an impressionistic style and learn about the fun relationship between light and color and take it home with you!
Explore what it's like to express movement and emotion within a subject on canvas with assistance. A lighthearted and easy method of painting in acrylics for everyone - NO experience needed, all levels welcome, teens and adult ages recommended.
Instructor: Claudine Bibeau-Parks of Unframed Arts of Santa Rosa, a local artist who has shown in all types of shows locally along with being an art docent for the Bennett Valley School Foundation for elementary children teaching projects about the masters of painting, the Peanuts on Parade statue event with the City of Santa Rosa (Woodstock and Joe Cool) as well as the Annual Matanzas Creek Winery's Days of Wine and Lavender as the Artist in Residence for their guided painting sessions (their 20th year!)
Impressionism and color is her true love and she enjoys sharing this with everyone - especially those who have never tried painting or think they can't - because we all CAN!
