Imperial Treasures
The internationally-acclaimed ensemble, REBEL will offer 'Imperial Treasures': an exuberant program of overtures, concerti and concerti grossi by Handel, Vivaldi, Telemann, Zelenka and Wagenseil. This, the season finale of REBEL's own Musica Antiqua Series in Bedford, now in its 16th year, will feature the following instrumentalists:
Meg Owens and Geoffrey Burgess, oboes; Jörg-Michael Schwarz & Karen Marie Marmer, violins; Risa Browder & Peter Kupfer, violas; Stephanie Corwin, bassoon; John Moran, cello, Motomi Igarashi, bass and Dongsok Shin, harpsichord.
A fully-catered reception follows the concert in the adjoining social hall, where audience members can mingle with the artists.
