                                                            MAIN STAGE ARTISTS

BILLIE WILDRICK Before she could walk or properly sound the letter s, Billie was well known among her parents party guests for singing Thummmmmertiiiiiiime! And the wivvin ith eathhheeeee from her mother arms in a full belt backbend.  Years later, her first professional review stated she couldnt be more appealing if she were a banana. While there is no way to test this statement, Billie still enjoys a vibrant career in Seattle where her work onstage has been celebrated with 3 Gregory noms (+1 award) and 3 Footlights. Last year you may have caught Billie onstage as Carrie in Carousel (5th Avenue), Sally in Cabaret (Village Theatre) or Maria in the Sound of Music (Ordway) or you may have seen one of two productions she directed  Peanutty Goodness (Schmeater) or Jesus Christ Superstar (SMT). Billie debuted on Broadway with Scandalous and can be heard on the cast recoding as well as that of A Christmas Story and also on Café Nordos Music for Dining Vol. 1. Billie is not at all famous for Ritas running piano ad lib in White Christmas but she sure does delight in over-developing ensemble roles, making the band laugh and new works at all stages of development. Billie takes life lessons at the church of Maya Angelou and L. Cohen albums: Ring the bells that still can ring/Forget your perfect offering/There is a crack in everything/Thats how the light gets in. www.billiewildrick.com.

JENNY SHOTWELL began singing and playing piano when she was a wee lass - always trying to emulate her childhood idol, Judy Garland.  Jenny has garnered praise for her vocal versatility most notably in the world of opera and musical theater but spanning into jazz and folk-rock.  Her career also includes music directing, playing the piano and singing for private parties, galas and cabarets as well as teaching privately.  Favorite performances include Marie in La Fille du Regiment with Tacoma Opera for which she earned praise for her stunning vocal pyrotechnics, Singin in the Rain in concert (Kathy Selden); Showtunes, Cosi Fan Tutte (Despina); Tacoma and Skagit Opera,  A Room with a View (The Ragazza), Pirates of Penzance (Isabel), Titanic (Kate Mullins), A Christmas Story the musical - twice! - (Original Cast Album); 5th Avenue Theatre, and HMS Pinafore (Josephine); Seattle G&S.  Shes been honored to sing the National Anthem for the Seahawks, Mariners and Seattle Storm.  Singing and playing piano is an extension of herself - a third arm, if you will.  Thanks to Mark, Shanna, Michael and the Studios for the opportunity to indulge with you all this evening. For my two favorites, Dalton and son Clark. www.jennyshotwell.com

KATE JAEGER Powerhouse Kate Jaeger has been bringing her soulful belt and wicked sense of humor to audiences throughout Seattle for over a decade. Kate is the love child of Bette Midler and Bridget Everett, bringing equal measures of sass and seductiveness. With her voluptuous curves and quick wit, she explores what it means to be truly comfortable in ones own skin. Kate is an award-winning Seattle actor, singer, emcee and improviser. She has been a host and emcee for organizations including Teatro Zinzanni, The Seattle Center and The Gregory Awards. Locally she has performed at Village Theatre, Seattle Childrens Theatre, Jet City Improv, ArtsWest, Annex Theatre, Macha Monkey and Teatro Zinzanni. Favorite roles include: Madame Thénardier in Les Misérables at Village Theatre (for which she won a Gregory Award); Duchess of the Dark in Wake The Night at Teatro Zinzanni; Ethel Merman in Judys Scary Little Christmas at ArtsWest; Darzee in The Garden of Rikki Tikki Tavi at the Seattle Childrens Theatre; Pennywise in Urinetown, Karen in August: Osage County and Lucy the Slut in Ave Q with Balagan Theatre. Kate has been a Jet City Improv company member since 2004.

MARK RABE has played piano & sung long as he can remember, and worked Seattle-area theatre for 25+ years (clearly, starting at 12!). Began piano lessons in 2nd grade (spent more time ""noodling"" at the piano than practicing for lessons, truth-be-told).  When friends gave me vocal selections for Sound Of Music and Fiddler, it was all over - he'd play and sing (in my jr-high boy-soprano) for HOURS. Never dreamt it was a career preview! In 2011 Rabe studied at the International Cabaret Conference At Yale (faculty: Erv Raible, Tovah Feldshuh, Laurel Masse, Amanda McBroom, Sally Mayes, and more). Some favorite roles over the years:  Arthur (Camelot) VillageTheatre; William Carney & Oscar Wilde (A Man Of No Importance) ShowtunesTheatreCo.; Hamlet (NOT a musical!); also Max (Lend Me A Tenor); Kodaly (She Loves Me), Headwaiter (She Loves Me   different production). This spring Rabe toured U.S. & England as music-director (and confused-bemused pianist) for An Evening With Groucho starring Frank Ferrante. Other music direction: Oh, Coward! (Seattle Rep); Goblin Market  (ACT Theatre); Wizard Of OZ (twice), Peter Pan, Goodnight Moon (Seattle Childrens Theatre); Working, Nine, Falsettos, Follies, (Showtunes); Ragtime, How To Succeed, Rags (CLO).  Favorite venues: Benaroya Halls Nordstrom Recital Hall (Showtunes), SCT, ACT, the Rep, and now TheStudios! Also, TheDuplex (NYC), Cabaret Crepe de Paris (RIP), Thumpers (RIP), Civic Light Opera (RIP), Eagans (soon to close its doors)  ""Come to the cabaret, OLD Chum!"""

RACHEL DESHON  a voice that has been called undeniably fantastic. After putting her focus on hold to support her friends and family Seattle native, Rachel DeShon, is returning to the stage.   Starting over, without her mentors physically, but rich in the creativity and passion that they instilled in her. DeShon was the winner of Marvin Hamlischs Search for a Star competition with the Seattle Symphony and performed on his national tour. Deemed Seattles Littlest Diva shes performed with Joan Baez, Ann Wilson, Thelma Houston, Lilianne Montevecchi and Frank Ferrante. Rachel recently performed with the Seattle Mens Chorus, featuring the two critically acclaimed works, I Am Harvey Milk and Tylers Suite, appearing with Andrew Lippa as Harvey Milk. Additional highlights include the Boston POPS!, Seattle Symphony Pops, Teatro ZinZanni, Seattle Opera, Pittsburgh Symphony Pops, 5th Avenue Theatre, Singapores Esplanade Concert Hall, Federal Way Symphony, and her debut of In Recital with the late pianist, composer Norman Durkee. She is also the founder and co-director of The Moore Artist Collective, an artist driven production company, powered by Shunpike. Currently she is working in collaboration with award winning Toronto playwright and director Robert Morgan, creating I AM. I AM is a theatrical operatic performance for one woman and piano. I AM becomes an extraordinary tribute to one young girls quite ordinary capacity to triumph.

RYAN MCCABE Since his Seattle theater debut in 2007s SAUCY JACK & THE SPACE VIXENS, Ryan McCabe has been toiling away in the trenches, delivering well-praised performances in many highly acclaimed productions.  It has been said that an actor as gifted as Ryan who gives so much of himself is a simple gift to any production. His diverse body of work with several of the city's most prominent musical theater companies includes: PARADE [;Sound Theatre Co.];; CHICAGO [;Village Theatre];(Gregory Award winner for Best Musical); Title Of Show [;Curly Stache/Balagan];; PLAID TIDINGS, BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON, JUDYS SCARY LITTLE CHRISTMAS (Seattle Times Footlight Award), GREEN DAYS AMERICAN IDIOT [;ArtsWest]; DR. HORRIBLES SING ALONG BLOG, AVENUE Q, LES MISERABLES, NEXT TO NORMAL, JERRY SPRINGER: THE OPERA, URINETOWN [;Balagan Theatre]; NEXT TO NORMAL, KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES [;Second Story Rep];; REEFER MADNESS [;RK Productions];; A CHORUS LINE, THE PRODUCERS, CHICAGO, JANE EYRE [;Seattle Musical Theatre]; and several iterations of the Contemporary Classics ever-popular NEW VOICES series. He tweets his weird worldview at www.twitter.com/ryanmccabe. It should come as no surprise that Elaine Stritch is his spirit animal.

TIPSY ROSE LEE (Ross Cornell) - Ross Cornell started his career in NYC at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. He has performed all over North America in the national tours of Footloose, CATS, and The Music Man where he played the role of Tommy Djilas. Here in the Seattle area, Ross has performed at the 5th Avenue Theatre in productions of White Christmas (twice), Cabaret (Dance Captain), 7 Brides and Guys & Dolls. At Village Theatre, Ross was seen on the Mainstage as Andy Lee in 42nd Street. Rosss alter-ego Tipsy Rose Lee is not only the co-host of Mimosas with Mama, but also the show's choreographer and creative developer. This show has won the title of Best Theatre Group in KING5s Best of Western Washington for the past two years. Tipsy has really made the rounds performing in cities such as Toronto, Las Vegas, LA and New York in addition to a recent extended run at Act II Stages in Puerto Vallarta. Her style is fresh and innovative combining pop-culture and musical theatre. Now Seattle's Broadway Bombshell will be tackling the role of Velma Kelly in Mimosas with Mama's 30min Chicago!

                                                             OPENING ARTISTS

CHELSEA LEVALLEY was hooked by theater in 3rd grade when she started writing plays at recess. By 5th grade she and her friends had organized a small troupe that performed plays they wrote for the elementary school, they trademarked, The StoryGirls.TM. She continued that "make it yourself" mentality she developed in "The Story Girls" now in college where she was recognized for reviving the student works scene in her program. Among the shows she directed or performed there she adapted/directed/performed "Speak Truth to Power," a play about human rights and social change. She spent almost two years working on the east coast (Hangar Theater, Open Space Theater) and on tour with Missoula Childrens Theater before finding home in Seattle. In the last three years, Chelsea has been fortunate to work with wonderful people at many companies in the city such as ACT (Buzzer, ESP), Seattle Repertory Theater (Come From Away), 5th Avenue Theater (Carousel, New Works), Seattle Children's Theater (Dick WhittingtonCat), ArtsWest (American Idiot, Angry Housewives), Intiman Theater Festival, Stage Right, among others. BFA Music Theater, Elon University11 with an added concentration in directing and leadership. Next up she'll be playing Sandra Bloom at Taproot in Big Fish. Jeremiah 29:11

DUSTYN MOIR  Since he was nine years old, Dustyn has been training as a vocalist and performer with an emphasis on classical and musical theatre. Through a combination of the two, he has developed his technique so he can morph his sound into various vocal styles, a skill that has broadened his career as a performer. Drawing inspiration from the "crooner" music his grandmother used to play when he was young, he would revel in the subtle power of their voices and applies a similar concept to his own performances As a vocalist, Dustyn has performed internationally in Bulgaria and Italy, all over the Pacific Northwest, and will be adding New York City to that list in June. In his stage career, he has worked with such companies as Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre, the Mount Baker Theatre, and many more, with some highlights being "Reggie (Man 2)" in First Date and "Jinx" in Forever Plaid. Dustyn is beyond thankful to be a part of the first Launch Cabaret Showcase and for the opportunity for him and the rest of the talented cast to showcase their vocal talents, their own unique styles, and their personal stories with the Seattle community!"

JESSI LITTLE began her theatre journey in San Diego at Christian Youth Theatre (CYT) sixteen years ago. From that point on, shes been performing 3+ shows a year. Her first professional gig was at thirteen years old playing Wendy in Peter Pan at Coeur dAlene Summer Theatre, where she would find her summer stock home for many seasons. She attended Texas Christian University where she received her BFA in theatre, emphasis: musical theatre. Upon graduating, she began working professionally in Dallas-Fort Worth performing at Casa Mana, Water Tower, and Circle Theatre. She is honored to have been featured in concerts with America's Pianist, Kevin Cole, and  Broadway vet, Doug Webster. Recent achievements include Wednesday in The Addams Family at Coeur dAlene Summer Theatre, Bakers Wife in Into the Woods at STAGERight Theatre (Gregory Award-winner for Outstanding Musical), Godspell at Taproot Theatre, Leigh in Really, Really at ArtsWest, and Chloe in the staged reading Hookman a new work by Laura Yee with Forward Flux Productions. She has just returned from a month backpacking trip in Europe and would love to swap stories. God is love.

TORI SPERO After growing up in the Seattle area, Tori moved to New York and then Los Angeles to receive her BFA in Musical Theater from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy.  Tori returned back to the Emerald City to perform in her Village Theater debut in Iron Curtain back in 2011.  Some of her favorite credits since include Lucille in Parade for Sound Theater Company, Lin from The Great American Trailer Park Musical for StageRight, Les Miserables with Village Theater (swing), Ruth Two Bears in Dogfight (ArtsWest), Maureen in Rent (SSR),  and Queenie in The Wild Party (Sound Theater) in which she received multiple nominations and awards for her performance.  Her comedic musings can also be seen on The Hard Rock Café stage in The Robbie Turner Revue.  Tori could not be happier that returning home was not only artistically the best decision but was closer to her wonderful family who have been nothing but supportive her entire career.  She also found the love of her life, Patrick, whom she married almost three years ago.  Thanks Seattle! Tori feels blessed to be in such a strong, artistic community and cannot wait to see what the future holds in store.
