Campbell in Colorado
Our first Intimate Concerts event features young New York cellist, Jay Campbell. Just awarded an Avery Fischer Career Grant in March 2016, he was featured in the New York Times twice this December, first in regards to a recent recital in Carnegie Hall, and second, for his Hen to Pan made the Best Classical Recordings of 2015.
Jay is joined by local favorites Bowdoin College pianist, George Lopez and, Boulder clarinetist, Deborah Marshall, in her fifth festival appearance. Dont miss this intimate glimpse of great artistry as they come together in a rich chamber music concert of works by Bach, Carter, Adolphe and Brahms sultry clarinet trio.
