Aging on Islands

Southern Harbor Eldercare Services and North Haven Sustainable Housing invite you to an Aging on Islands symposium on Saturday, July 16th on North Haven at Watermans Community Center. The half-day conference will bring together experts on aging, community members and residents of Maines 15 year-round islands, and eldercare practitioners. The focus will be on the experiences of seniors on Maines offshore islands and how we can reimagine care for seniors in all of our communities in the future. The conference has received generous support from the J.T. Gorman Foundation, the Genesis Fund, and the Maine Health Access Foundation.

Conference tickets are $25/person or $15 for seniors.
Join us for Calderwood Hall sandwiches and salads for lunch, $15.
Transportation from Rockland will be provided for mainland attendees for $10 person, leaving Rockland at 8am, please book in advance, return on the 3:45 Maine State Ferry, tickets cost $9.25.
