ABOUT NATALIE JOHNSON DANCE:
Natalie Johnson began her training in rural Colorado, and furthered her technical and choreographic education at the American Dance Festival, Boston Conservatory, Peridance Certificate Program, and Bowdoin College, where she received her BA in English with a Dance minor. Natalie had the privilege to be instructed by Charlotte Griffin, Ming Yang, Mark Haim, Rodger Belman, Pat Catterson, and Elizabeth Corbett, and has assisted Elizabeth Corbett in the instruction of William Forsythe repertory at the American Dance Festival. Recently, she was awarded a Pizarts Space Grant for their January Spirit Showcase in New York City.
Natalie Johnson Dance is joyfully dedicated to a generous and open relationship with its community, and an unyielding loyalty to the movement art form. We seek to bring meaningful work to a wide audience through performance, teaching, and service, expanding our connections to people with love and passion. Our dance is idiosyncratic, drawing from the artists histories, curiosities, imperfections and prowess. With choreography as honest as a diary entry, the audience gets to glimpse the human soul speaking through movement. Natalie Johnson Dance has been performing regularly throughout New York City since November 2013. Previous NYC venues include CPR, Brooklyn Arts eXchange, The Secret Theater, C.O.W. Theater, Green Space, Gibney Dance Center, Jan Hus Church, and many more.
ABOUT DE FUNES DANCE:
Diego Funes has taught and choreographed all over the world, including London, France, Spain Italy, Guatemala, Argentina and throughout the US. He studied at the prestigious School of American Ballet, prior to dancing with Cincinnati Ballet, The New York City Opera, The Metropolitan Opera, Teatro dellOpera di Roma and Baletto del Sud.
He went on tour throughout Europe, later returning to the United States to break into musical theatre. His musical credits as a dancer include Cats, Hello, Dolly!, Riverdance, Anything Goes, A Chorus Line and the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular. During his musical theatre career, he would also choreograph acclaimed stagings of Beauty and the Beast, Hello, Dolly!, And the World Goes Round, Zorba!, Leader of the Pack, the first New York revival of Subways Are for Sleeping and shows for Tokyo Disney.
In 2007, he choreographed the major motion picture, P.S. I Love You, directed by Richard
LaGravenese and starring Gerard utler and Academy Award-winner Hilary Swank. Diego lives in New York City, where he is on faculty at Peridance Dance Center and Ballet Arts

Impact Movement Collective & Jennifer Glaws
ABOUT IMPACT MOVEMENT COLLECTIVE:
Impact Movement Collective is a collaboration among artists using dance drama and energetic contemporary movement as a means of exploring unique perspectives on life and expressing the shared human experience. Founded by dancer/choreographer Laura Henry and with rehearsal director Aly Giampolo, the company has a unique interest in bridging the gap between literature and dance, creating work that can be appreciated by a diverse audience, and using art as a means to align themselves with charitable initiatives. Since it's establishment in 2015, Impact has performed several original works throughout NYC and helped provide scholarships to over 16 girls in underprivileged countries through benefit concerts.
ABOUT JENNIFER GLAWS:
Jennifer Glaws is interested in the social and developmental rewards of the arts evident in her work as a dance artist, director and photographer. Her dances explore athleticism and conceptual depth both kinetically and temporally arriving at a diverse pallet of movement. Jennifers research delves into the relationship of dance with cognitive science, and the view that the practice of choreography enhances critical thinking skills in dancers and non-dancers alike. Jennifer utilizes specifically created strategies and schemes in her creative praxis developing dances that invoke embodiment while challenging memory and physical patterns or habits. Jennifer holds an MFA in Dance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and BFA in dance and photography from Arizona State University. She is an active dance educator and choreographer building bridges to the arts in settings as varied as private studios, public education programs and colleges. Jennifer has resided in Minneapolis since 2004 producing in museum, theater environments and public spaces with commissioned dance pieces presented at Gustavus Adolphus College, ACDA-Midwest, metro area middle and high schools and UW-Milwaukee among other private institutions. Her recent evening length work, Study 1 Perceptions: Stuck or UNstuck, has been on tour in 2015-16 performing nationally.

ABOUT FALCON DANCE:
Human nature manifests through thought, sense, perception, and action. It's naturally imposed on each of us, and it speaks honestly. Layers of culture and social influence blur the lines, but our innate qualities are always present. As a company, we believe that movement is the closest link to humanity and the characteristics in which it is encompassed. We explore relationships, experiences, and thought to investigate how human nature can be regarded as a source of norms, as well as a constraint on life. The work is drawn to vulnerability and risk, mending subtly with expansion, athleticism with artistry, and humanity with ingenuity. The breadth of the work is within the through-line where movement becomes meaning, and that meaning becomes an honest and distinctive statement.
ABOUT GABRIELLA CARMICHAEL:
Gabriella Carmichael is a Brooklyn-based artist originally from Western Massachusetts. She took part in the 5-College Consortium through UMass Amherst, where she had the pleasure of performing works by Gallim Dance, Sidra Bell, Camille Brown, Monica Bill Barnes, and Chris Aiken. It was through this schooling where she met her collaborative dance artists and life long friends. Gabriella has shown her work in New York City at Triskelion Arts, Mark Morris Dance Group, Greenspace, and Spoke the Hub. She is a certified yoga teacher and teaches young children in hopes of promoting bodily awareness and self confidence. Gabriella uses the human body as a metaphor to showcase beliefs and social conditions regarding homophobia and queerness, isolation and human difference. Using research techniques similar to that from her background in anthropology, she is interested in creating art that documents and discovers human possibility- rewarding an explorer principle to delve into uncharted territory. Her work strives to create meaning by using satire and humor in relation to imaginative and sensory based movement. She uses dance as a tool for activism, empowerment, and creating community.
