Jazz @ The Fountains
"There are wonderful things in real jazz, the talent for improvisation, the liveliness, the being at one with the audience." ~~~ Henri Matisse Promising all of the above, Six String Jazz will perform jazz tunes from the 1940s and 50s to celebrate the third anniversary of The Fountains in Franklin on Sunday, June 5. The quartet will play tunes by such composers as Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, Count Basie, and others whose music enhanced the decades.
Beginning at 4 pm and playing until 6 will be:
Mesa Schubeck, piano & vocal Don Fishel, flute Doug Frame, drums Wayne Renardson, bass
The public is invited to share in this celebration. Free parking, no cover.
