Fire and Earth Kitchen was founded by artist, educator and chef, Renee Press, as a way to bring the beauty of vegan, gluten-free cooking to life. Since 2011, she has been providing the Seattle area with 100% vegan, gluten-free cooking classes, sharing her passion for tasty and healthy home cooked meals, and simplifying the process for everyone. Her renowned recipes are developed with a wide range of people in mind: newbie cooks, seasoned vegans, veg curious, those with food allergies, lifelong meat eaters, and those on the path to healing with plant based foods. She has taught in homes and businesses around the region, and offers classes open to the public at Pike Place Market Atrium Kitchen, The Woodhouse Wine Estates, and in Downtown Ballard on a monthly basis. She regularly teaches with her esteemed sous chef and husband, Nick. They share a wide range of information about how to get the most nutrition out of your vegetables, where to source local ingredients, and how to make delicious vegan meals a regular part of your life.
