McCall SummerFest 2016: Broadway in McCall
Soprano Kristen Hertzenberg will accompany the orchestra through a program of classic and modern Broadway favorites by Rodgers and Hammerstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Stephen Schwartz and more. In addition, shell be joined by soprano Samantha Kantak on a special duet. Kristen made quite the impression last year during her first SummerFest appearance. For over five years, she captivated audiences as Christine inPhantom The Las Vegas Spectacular. She went on to play Dyanne in Million Dollar Quartet on the Las Vegas Strip and established herself as a solo artist as well. She wowed jazz-lovers by fronting her own band and presenting songs by Bonnie Raitt, Ray Charles and others in sold-out performances. Desert Companion magazine named her Best Torch Singer and other publications have described her voice as a dynamic instrument, lilting and limitless, with incredible color and depth.

McCALL MUSIC SOCIETY PRESENTS SUMMERFEST 2016

SummerFest 2016 is a week-long festival of classical chamber music and pops concerts held at several venues in and around McCall, Idaho, presented by McCall Music Society.
David Itkin returns as SummerFest's Artistic Director and Conductor, following a successful 2015 debut. He is the Music Director/Conductor of the Abilene Philharmonic, Director of Orchestral Studies at the University of North Texas College of Music, Conductor Laureate of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, author of Conducting Concerti and a composer.
In addition to the 46-piece SummerFest Orchestra, featured soloists for 2016 include: Kristen Hertzenberg, soprano; Tim Fain, violin; Samantha Kantak, soprano; Scott Thornburg, trumpet; and McCall's very own Tom Robin Harris on organ.
