THE STOCKTON SUMMER JAZZ FESTIVAL SERIES EXPERIENCE
2016 line-up includes Marion Meadows-is an American saxophonist, composer, and contemporary jazz recording artist. In 1990 Meadows submitted a solo project to Steve Backer at Novus/RCA and was signed to a recording contract, thus marking the beginning of his solo career. Tom Browne-is an American jazz trumpeter, who rose to prominence first through his early work with Sonny Fortune, and scored two major hits in 1980 and 1981: the R&B single "Funkin' for Jamaica (Jamaica funk), Paul Taylor-is an American smooth jazz saxophonist who has released albums since his debut On the Horn in 1995. Although originally from Denver, Colorado, he is based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Julian Vaughn-Julian Vaughn is a rising jazz star in the Smooth Jazz community. His first hit single was "On Your Feet" reached and stayed at #1 on the Billboard for three consecutive weeks. Nick Colionne-has a jazz style that is both urban and contemporary, Nick Colionne has blazed a trail to the top of the ranks of today's stars. Combining jazz, R & B, blues and funk, he has an unmistakable sound.
