Guided Painting Sessions of Sonoma County
In 2 hours: Learn how paint a local Sonoma County Scene in an impressionistic style firsthand! Have fun exploring the relationship between light and color and take home a COLORFUL, BEAUTIFUL SONOMA COUNTY SCENE!
Explore what it's like to express movement and emotion within a subject on canvas with assistance while learning what your style is.
A lighthearted and easy method of painting in acrylics for everyone - NO experience needed, all levels welcome, teens and adult ages recommended.
(During the event, for an additional fee not included in the price, Criminal Bakery has some delicious pour over coffees, herbal teas and DELICIOUS bakery products that are to die for!)
Instructor: Claudine Bibeau-Parks of Unframed Arts of Santa Rosa, a local artist who has shown in all types of shows locally along with being an art docent for the Bennett Valley School Foundation for elementary children teaching projects about the masters of painting, the Peanuts on Parade statue event with the City of Santa Rosa (Woodstock and Joe Cool) as well as the Annual Matanzas Creek Winery's Days of Wine and Lavender as the Artist in Residence for their guided painting sessions (their 20th year!)
Impressionism and color is her true love and she enjoys sharing this with everyone - especially those who have never tried painting or think they can't - because we all CAN!
