Kellie C. Turner One-Woman Show
Kellie Turner is Co-Founder/CEO of Denman Turner Entertainment Group, Inc. (DTEG). Kellie brings more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of entertainment including theatre, music, film and television.
As an actress and singer, Kellie has performed in more than 30 stage productions including George Faisons production of The Wiz with Stephanie Mills and Andre DeShields; Harold Princes Broadway, and touring, productions of Show Boat with Cloris Leachman and John McMartin. Kellies television credits include guest appearances on The Cosby Show and The Sopranos. She also played a supporting role in Spike Lees New Jersey Drive.
Kellie has produced several stage plays including productions of Regina Taylors Crowns and Sassy, a portrayal of the life of jazz icon Sarah Vaughan. She also wrote and produced Jimmy Earls Defense, Son Of A Preacher Man, and Love, Honor, and Cherish. In her latest production, Stormy, Kellie also serves as the lead lyricist and music composer.
Kellie has performed in more than 20 countries around the world including throughout Europe, Asia, and Australia. She has also composed and recorded more than 30 songs and served as Music Director for Hinton Battles Love Lies, which was featured at New York Music Theatre Festival. Kellie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity degree from Lancaster Theological Seminary.
