Fanny and Felix
Oakland City Chorus and Oakland Civic Orchestra present a concert of music by 19th Century brother and sister Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel and Felix Mendelssohn. Soprano Sarita Canon sings Felix 's "Psalm 42." Pianist Dale Tsang will play his "Capriccio." In addition to "Psalm 42," the chorus will perform Fanny's "Hiob" (Book of Job).
The Odell Johnson Theater is located on the Laney College campus, across from the Lake Merritt BART station, 900 Fallon Street in downtown Oakland.
