Project606 Dance returns to the Hamlin Park Fieldhouse for the final performances of their seventh season. Thursday, May 26th and Friday, May 27th at 7:30 pm.
Projections is a new dance series that highlights the creative forces within Project606 Dance. It offers the artists of Project606 to take on the role as choreographer and visionary of their own works. Projections2016 will feature five new works by 606 ensemble members Jenny DeMuth, Kim Fahnestock, Joanna Paul, Lauren Reed and Julianne Stoltman. It will also see the return of Artistic Director Meghann Mueller's BACKBONE and Resident Choreographer Jenny DeMuth's ***Warning*** This Product Contains a Variety of Nuts.
Project606 Dance is also pleased to announce the return of students from the Evanston School of Ballet who will be performing a new work by Artistic Director Meghann Mueller. Project606 is committed to the mentorship of pre professional dancers and presents them with opportunities to experience the professional dance realm firsthand.
This program is part of The Chicago Moving Company Performance Project. The Chicago Moving Company is in residence at Hamlin Park, through the Chicago Park District's Arts Partners in Residence Program, which unites artists and communities in Chicago's parks.
