Half Ice Training:
Get out of the mini-rink and on to the regulation ice for a full hour! This spring we will be sharing a full sheet of ice on a few Friday nights in May and a Friday night in June. This will be a great opportunity to use the bigger space and work on different techniques and scenarios that we normally cannot touch on in the smaller rink 7. This will be run very similar to how we treat our Junior/College goalies during the season, High intensity with game like situations. Down the other end will be shooting skills with high end peewees/bantoms. I will have four goalies on the ice with me each hour and will be rotating one or two goalies at a time down to the shooting end so they can apply what we are working on against those shooters. This will be a good way to work on different skills and to see a lot of rubber.
