John Doe calls his new album (due out 4/29/16), The Westerner, psychedelic soul music from the Arizona desert. In addition to being a founding member of the ground-breaking LA band, X, he has recorded 8 solo records and acted in over 50 films and television productions. In the new book Under the Big Black Sun: A Personal History of L.A. Punk, Doe and assorted friendswith help from Tom DeSaviatell the story of L.A. punk as it began, developed, and changed the music scene forever.
Jesse Dayton is an American, Austin, Texas-based honky tonk and rockabilly artist, best known for his guitar contributions to albums by country musicians including Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson. Dayton also contributed guitarwork on albums by the Supersuckers and Kris Kristofferson.
