Social Studies Summer Symposium

The Maine Department of Education, in partnership with the Maine Council for the Social Studies, invite educators to the inaugural Social Studies Summer Symposium, Wed., June 29 from 8:00-4:00 at Maranacook High School in Readfield.  The day will feature a variety of workshop sessions crafted and delivered by Social Studies Teacher-Leaders from across the state.  The Summer Symposium will include sessions for elementary, middle and high school teachers and contact hours will be awarded.    Register online by June 10.  $25.00 registration must be paid in advance and includes lunch.

Those who are unable to pay by credit card should register for "pay by check" option. Then mail a check made payable to Maine Council for Social Studies for $30 (which includes 5.00 processing fee) to MCSS, P.O. Box 1165, Scarborough 04074.
