Level 1: Introduction to Improvisation (ADULT)
THESE CLASSES WILL BEGIN MAY 7th and END JUNE 18th!
Class Time: 7 Saturday Mornings from 1pm-4pm.
Cost: $25 A Class or $150 In Advance (Save $$$)
18+.
Want to learn the art of improvisation for the stage? You improvise every day without knowing it, but performance improv takes a PERFORMER. Learn the basics of improvisational theatre and the necessary techniques to put on a show.
5 Classes, culminating in a performance for your friends, family and peers.
Upon completion of this level, you will have learned:
Elementary Stage Performance Techniques (Stage Presence and Presentation)
Beginning Improvisation techniques (Fundamentals of Improvisation)
Improvisational Game Theory (Playing the Improv Games, for Performance)
Introduction to advance Scene work (The Fundamentals of What Makes Good Scenes)
Introduction to Object Work (Pantomime and Developing the Objects and Surroundings in your Scenes)
Students may purchase the entire session ahead of time (and save $25) or, they can register on the first day, and pay at each class via Cash, Card, or Check.
