Sideshow & Tell
Strange for Hire presents: Sideshow and Tell.
Follow us off the midway, down the dusty forgotten roads of America and take an immersive glimpse behind the canvas at the life and adventure that blossoms on stage when a professional roustabout from Coney Island meets a showgirl from the Hollywood days of old.
This is Sideshow and Tell.
About our Strange for Hire duo:
One of the top five sideshow acts in the country. Inarguably. Miss em at your own peril. - James Taylor, author of Shocked and Amazed; on and off the Midway.
Mr. Donny V (aka Donny Vomit) was the host of the Coney Island Sideshow for nearly a decade, a living legend known for his wondrous charm and heart stopping acts, hell leave you holding your breath in absolute awe and delight, all while telling tales of these dangerous acts as they unfold.
Frankie (aka Frankie Sin) is a classically trained dancer mixing showgirl glitz with her unique carnival charm. She combines the two to bring you pulse racing acts harkening back to the golden age of her hometown of Hollywood. Behold as she risks life, limb, and everything in between to bring you magnificent moments youll not soon forget.
Guest starring: Beardsley, the man with the hypnotic guitar, will help us along our journey into the land of the beautiful and the bizarre. Ooops the Clown and her world famous performing canine Mr. Cheeze will provide side splitting acts of the absolutely adorable that this dynamite duo is known for.
But what do you have in store for me, you may ask?: Right before your eyes youll see the unbelievable, and hear the stories behind these incredible acts! From sword swallowing, fire eating, whip cracking, escapology, chainsaw juggling, the death defying climb up a ladder of machetes, to the rusty saw box of death, classic burlesque and live musical accompaniment, plus so much more!
There are even moments when the audience becomes the cast and gets to participate, showing these are no feats of imagination, nor illusion, but the real deal...
