Brass instruments join the FAPC Chamber Choir for an hour of music that pulses with joy, grandeur, and playfulness. John Rutter’s spirited and tuneful setting of the Gloria is paired with Benjamin Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb in which a cat, a mouse, flowers, musical instruments, and even letters of the alphabet rub shoulders in praise of God. Festive church anthems complete the program, including Byrd’s Sing joyfully and Parry’s I was glad.
