Mountain Folk Fest
Now in its 4th year, the Mountain Folk Fest presents a wonderful array of acoustic styles of bluegrass, folk, mountain, outdoor-themed and Americana music.
Buying tickets in advance here offers a substantial discount from the gate price on the weekend of the festival. At the gate tickets are $25.00 per day or $40.00 for both days. In advance here on Brown Paper Tickets, tickets are just $15.00 per day or $25.00 for both days. We have child and family-friendly tickets too!
Performing bands come in from all over the country to entertain the audience at the Evergreen Club in rural Fleetwood, Pennsylvania. The venue is set up as an old-world, family-friendly beer garden, which means it has beautiful stage, a great floor to place folding chairs on in front of the stage, and hundreds of seats with accommodating picnic tables under roof in the open-air venue, so that everyone can enjoy the festival no matter what the weather is doing. Rain or shine, the music and having fun with friends and like-minded people is what matters the most.
The venue offers delicious home-cooked food, soft drinks and adult beverages. Bring your own lawn chairs. There are many special areas with shade trees so that "parking lot pickers" can do their thing in peace and comfort. Come early and stake your claim to a favorite spot.
New for 2016, on day two of the festival, we're presenting our first-ever Mountain Folk Single Microphone Competition, sponsored by Ear Trumpet Labs. Bands will compete for top honors and prizes.
There are plenty of hotel rooms in the immediate area. No camping is allowed on our fest site, but if you look on a map, you will find many nice campgrounds within the region.
We will be broadcasting live on radio and TV too! Be a part of a media happening!
Craft vendors will be on hand too.
The Mountain Folk Fest is put on by the Mountain Folk Radio, TV & Internet Show and in 2016 is part of the community-wide Berks Country Fest: An Americana Music Jamboree, put on by Pretzel City Productions, LLC, a subsidiary of Reading Eagle Company.
