Ballroom Entertainment presents..."Time Warp"

From the sassy swivels of the Roaring Twenties to the avant-garde lines of the Vogue, take a ride through the decades of dance! Dress in the style of your favorite era and be ready to "twist and shout" to the iconic tunes of the 20th century!

If you love music, dancing and your Mother, then you will love "Time Warp" and so will she.

The show is a part of a project created by choreographer Alicia Richardson and Ballroom Dance Academy's Natalia Lind and Michael Kuka in collaboration with LA's finest professionals and some amazing amateurs. This elegantly choreographed show celebrates the wide range of period inspired dances of the 20th century.

Hosted at the brand new Downtown Dance & Movement studio, and set up for a delicious appetizer buffet, this venue is sure to put you in the mood for dance and tease your appetite for sweets and treats. If the entertainment and food are still not enough, give the floor a whirl yourself. With music by popular DJ James Woo spinning the tunes throughout the event, you'll be rich with art, warm from dancing, and appreciated by your loved ones for such a great idea for this holiday.

PARKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Downtown Dance & Movement is located at 1144 South Hope Street, between 11th and 12th, two blocks east of Staples Center in the beautiful neighborhood of South Park. Parking is $4 all day Sunday at the Joes Parking structure at 746 S. Hope St. (a quick four-block walk to the studio). For a FREE shuttle ride from the lot to DDM, call Downtown Concierge at (855) 450-7433.

You can also leave your car at home and use the METRO.
DDM Studio is located just a little more than 1 block from the Pico Station (on Flower just south of 12th), serving the Blue Line & Expo Line. If youre coming in from another line, just change to the Blue Line at 7th Street Metro Center.

You may find parking at the meters and lots on Hope Street and 12th St., but due to the frequency of events at Staples Center & LA Live in the evenings & weekends, we recommend you use the Joes Parking lot.
