Storytelling Workshop
Join Irish storyteller Maxine Lennon for a fun way to kick off your weekend. Learn how to tell a 3 minute life story, hear a tale or two, meet new friends, and develop new skills during this invigorating workshop. No experience required!
During the workshop, practice the art of telling by using "Tales to boil an egg to." Participants will get familiar with timing by focusing on the story knowing the story - exploring how to add imaginative aspects to the story building the tale again, applying the imagination yet staying true to the story, keeping the flow of the story letting the story tell through you.
Handouts will be distributed at the workshop.
The workshop will be held from 4pm - 6pm on Friday, April 22 from 4pm - 6pm at The Bridge (6846 Woodlawn Ave NE, Suite B, Seattle).
All ages are welcome to participate in our Community Arts workshops. Children under age 10 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
