ABQ Corks and Brews
ABQ Corks & Brews is an afternoon tasting of craft beers and fine wines, paired with artisanal chocolate. Discover what New Mexico has to offer featuring the Best Local Breweries, Wineries, Chocolatiers, Musical talents and Food Trucks. We will be cultivating an experience from the moment you enter the Industrial BlackSmith Shop, Relax in our lounge areas while you enjoy your beer, wine and chocolate delights, take a photo in our photo booths, listen to different musical talents on stage and browse the local art being showcased throughout the venue.
ABQ Corks & Brews will be hosted at the City of Albuquerques Blacksmith shop located as the Historic Albuquerque Rail Yards, on October 1st, 2016 from 12pm to 4pm. This years beneficiary is the American Lung Association of New Mexico. With a history of over 100 years, today the American Lung Association in New Mexico works day in and day out to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. We confront lung disease at the root level, educating kids about the dangers of smoking, working to reduce air pollution, teaching kids and adults how to manage their asthma, and supporting research initiatives, especially with lung cancer, COPD and asthma. In New Mexico approximately 273,900 New Mexicans suffer from some form of lung disease. Price includes a souvenir tasting glass This is a 21+ event. Proper identification is the responsibility of the attendee. Failure to present proper, valid photo identification (drivers license or passport) will result in denial of entry with no refund offered. For the safety of everyone at the tasting, no infants, children, strollers, or pets will be allowed. All guests of the ABQ Corks and Brews are expected to drink responsibly and ensure they have a safe, responsible means of transportation before leaving the facility. Any guest who is intoxicated before entering the event may be denied entry to the facility. Any guest found intoxicated within the event and causing a disturbance, as determined by management, will be asked to leave the facility without refund. All bags, jackets, and guests are subject to search upon entering the event.
