College Financial Savvy
Thinking about the looming costs of college can be stressful. There are so many questions. How much will college really cost? Will I qualify for financial aid? Will the costs limit the choices my child has? How do I involve my child in the money side of college? The reality is that college costs keep rising, but going to college doesn't have to mean breaking the bank.
In order to address the many questions that come up for parents around college finances, College Consultant Nicole Hosemann and Financial Coach Elizabeth Maggio have created a workshop to help you develop College Financial Savvy. During this 4 hour workshop you will learn how to prepare yourselves and your kids for the financial realities of college. Topics include:
- True costs of going to college
- Strategies available to pay for college
- Realities of financial aid
- Ways to reduce college costs
- Students readiness to manage spending in college
- What you can do starting right now
Parents, guardians and teenagers are invited to attend. The cost is $95 for one family member and $8 each for up to 2 additional immediate family members.
