The COTA for Sam C Golf Outing
Sam is the son of Joseph and Carol Connelly. Born on January 26, 1998, Sam was diagnosed with Stage 4 Renal Failure. The doctors at Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee have recommended a life-saving kidney transplant.
With the cost of a transplant often exceeding $500,000, many transplant families are unable to shoulder the financial burden of such a procedure. The Childrens Organ Transplant Association (COTA) is a national charity dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-related expenses. In Pleasant Prairie, volunteers are raising funds for COTA in honor of transplant patients like local teen, Sam Connelly
An estimated $150,000 is being raised by Pleasant Prairie volunteers.
