Mixed Signals: Bodies in Motion

Join us for the first episode of MIXED SIGNALS where actor/filmmaker/musician/storyteller Tom Cryan celebrates the human bodys desire to be in motion. Its no secret that the human body wants to move: Shoulders want to shimmy, hips want to shake, arms want to flail and legs want to jump. So instead of restraining ourselves while our bodies fidget and squirm, weve asked artists, performers and other experts to show us how the body can move while our studio audience participates in a freeform dance party.

MIXED SIGNALS is a bi-monthly immersive multimedia series taped at BRIC House and broadcast on BPN Channel 2 (http://bricartsmedia.org/community-media/watch-brooklyn-public-network). Each episode follows a different artist/curator as they explore a topic by stitching together work from local and up-and-coming artists.
