Financing a trip to Bangkok for sex reassignment surgery is beyond stressful: it appears impossible. With the weight of secrets and subterfuge on Ors shoulders, Berkovitz starts filming and documents Ors challenging journey to find wholeness and reconnect with family. This cinéma vérité documentary delves deeply into the trauma and urgency of transition, underscored by need and longing for family acceptance. It is emotionally and physically raw, unflinching, and unpredictable.
